Several of the earlier posts on this blog have been about the Auto Complete feature. The last post covering this feature was:

Solitaire: Auto Complete Followup 2

Following is a summary of what these posts have covered.

In the following board layout:

MobilityWare app saves two moves as it magically pulls the “5 of Diamonds” from the bottom of the Draw Open stack and moves it to Foundation 3.

In the following board layout:

MobilityWare Solitaire Auto Complete Example 2

The Draw Open stack has two cards: “Jack of Spades” and “King of Spades”. They both have the same suite: Spades. Auto Complete feature was able to pull the “Jack of Spades” from the bottom of the Draw Open stack and save a move. Hence the suite of the cards does not impact the Auto Complete feature.

In the following board layout:

As “Jack of Hearts” had a greater face value that “8 of Clubs”, Auto Complete feature did not pull out the “5 of Diamonds”. Once “8 of Clubs” was moved out of the stack, the “5 of Diamonds” could now be moved.

Now in the one of the recent challenges the board layout was as follows:

As “King of Clubs” has a greater face value than “9 of Spades”, the conjecture was that Auto Complete feature would be able to pull out the “9 of Spades” and save a move. That is not what actually occurred in the MobilityWare app.

I am sure there is some logic to the Auto Complete feature but it seems to be evading us. We will appreciate your thought on this feature.
